How to create a discount for a product in Wix

You can offer discounts or coupon codes in Wix for customizable products created through Kickflip. Here’s how to set one up.

IMPORTANT

While you can set automatic discounts, Wix coupon codes are not supported within Kickflip at the moment.

1. Go to your Wix store dashboard

  1. Log in to your Wix account.

  2. From your store's dashboard, go to Marketing → Automatic Discounts.

2. Create a new discount

  1. Click Create Discount.

  2. Choose Standard discount.

3. Set discount details

  1. Add a discount name. The name will be visible on your site.

  2. For the type of discount, choose either Percentage off or Amount off.

  3. For the section What does this discount apply to? Select Specific Product and select the product(s) you want to discount to be applied to.

  4. Enter the remaining details of the discount.

  5. Once everything is filled, you can save your discount. Be careful because the discount will be active as soon as you save.

4. Result

  • The discount will automatically be applied to the product in the cart and during checkout.

  • The discount won't be shown inside the customizer, even if you choose to display the price on the product page.
