Applying colors on an image

If you will build your customizer using dynamic coloring, it will be important for you to desaturate the color on your product images closest to white as possible so that the color appears bright and clear on the images.

Also, if you wish to create a more realistic finish to the color, we recommend using the lighting settings. A higher value will render whiter, more intense lighting.

In order to apply colors on an image, you must first create an image question.

Instead of creating designs for every color you are offering, you can apply colors dynamically on an image:

Under Color, click on Create color question.

A color question is added to your Question panel.

Adding colors

  1. In the right panel, click on the + button next to Colors and then click on Create.

  2. Enter a name for your color (By default, it will be named 'Untitled Answer');

  3. Type in a Hex code or use the color picker to select your color.

  4. Specify lighting settings to make your color look more glossy or matte (optional).

Once you have added a color:

  • It is displayed in the product preview.

  • An answer is created in your question.

Creating color variants

If you add another color in your question, a second answer appears. Your customer can now select an answer and the customizer will display the color based on that choice.
