Your configurator's price has two parts: a base price for the product itself, and extra prices attached to individual answers. A customer who picks an embroidered name or an upgraded material pays the base price plus whatever extras their choices add.
Both are set in the Pricing tab of the product.
CAUTION
Shopify users: Kickflip creates and manages your product's variants and prices in Shopify. Don't edit or rename them on the Shopify side — changes there won't reach Kickflip, and they can break the connection to your cart.
Set your base price
The base price is what your product costs before any options are added.
Open your product in Kickflip.
Click the Pricing tab.
Enter your amount under Base price.
Click Save.
Add extra prices
An extra price attaches to a specific answer. Pick "Embroidered name" and $15 is added; pick "None" and nothing is.
NOTE
Don't see anyting in the Pricing tab? Your questions and answers only appear here once the product has been published. Go back to the Build tab, click Publish, then come back to the Pricing tab.
To add an extra price:
Open your product.
Go to the Pricing tab.
Under Extra prices, click + Add extra price.
Choose the question and the answer the charge applies to.
Enter the amount and click Add.
Repeat for every answer that costs extra, then click Save.
Hide extra prices from customers
By default, customers see what each option adds as they choose it. You can turn that off and show only the total.
Open your product.
In the bottom-left corner of the screen, next to 'Add to cart', click Edit.
In the right panel under Pricing, toggle off Show extra price.
